Frequently Asked Questions

How many months/ How long/ How much time does it take from beginner to B2? I need a CLB 7+ in TEF/TCF Canada.

Starting from scratch, the minimum realistic time to learn French effectively is about 10–12 months. This requires consistent effort, focused practice, and genuine dedication to truly master the language. Typically: A1 – 2 months, A2 – 2 months, B1 – 3 months, B2 – 3 months.

There really isn’t a faster track than this, anyone claiming otherwise is simply out there to dupe learners. The mentality is: “The student won’t achieve much in such a short time anyway, so let’s at least make some money out of it.”

Language learning does take time, and it’s important to be mature and realistic about it. At LingoRelic, we do not believe in quick-fix shortcuts and scamming learners; we only accept students willing to commit the time needed for real transformation, ensuring lasting progress and true fluency and confidence.

Does Divya teach the classes?

Divya herself teaches all levels from B1 and above. For A1 and A2, the classes are handled by experienced trainers who are at least B2 level and many of them are also doing or have completed a Master’s in French language and literature. They’re all personally trained by Ms. Divya using the “LingoRelic Teaching Methodology”, so the way of teaching stays consistent: warm, supportive, and 100% judgment-free. No criticism, no scolding, only encouragement. 🙂

And once you reach A2, you’ll continue your journey directly with Ms. Divya for B1 onwards. She’s very careful when it comes to choosing trainers for beginner levels because she knows you’ll eventually come to her. So you don’t have to worry, she only hires people she trusts to give you the right foundation.

How many students are there in a batch?

We usually take around 10 to 15 enrollments per batch. On any given day, there may be fewer live attendees since some students prefer to follow the classes in passive mode through recordings.

All sessions are recorded and shared with you for lifetime access. This helps with smooth revision and to catch up easily if you miss a class.

Do you have a refund policy?

We don’t offer refunds, but you’re welcome to check our student testimonials on our Instagram page highlights @lingorelic to see what students have shared about their experience with us 🙂

What if the upcoming batch schedule doesn’t suit me?

Don’t worry. New batches are announced on our Instagram page from time to time, so you can follow us @lingorelic 🙂

What is the duration of each session/class?

A1- 1 to 1.5 hours

A2- 1 to 1.5 hours

B1- 1.5 to 2 hours

B2- 1.5 to 2 hours

Do I need to buy any study materials/books ?/ Which books will be followed?

We’ve got you covered with our own study materials in soft copy,  that’s what we mainly use. 📚💻 We also use authentic and up-to-date online documents to keep learning real, fresh, and engaging. Your trainer might suggest a few extra books or tools, but honestly, you’ll get almost everything you need from us.

If I join a batch now but later my schedule changes, can I switch to a different class timing?

If your schedule changes midway and you need a different class timing, you can switch to another batch by enrolling fresh and paying the full fee again. Otherwise, you can continue in your current batch through class recordings and regular study materials, plus, you can always message or send a voice note on WhatsApp for any doubts. 💬
