This level is all about “Tourist French”, just what you need to survive and thrive in everyday situations. You’ll learn how to read signs, ask for directions, and handle basics at supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and more. The topics? All about you, your likes & dislikes, your world, and the people and things around you.

Once you finish A1, you’ll be able to introduce yourself or someone else, talk about your day-to-day life, and handle basic convos about people and places around you. You’ll get the hang of understanding simple announcements (like train times or opening hours), and even write short, casual messages or letters to your fam and friends, all in French!
