I started LingoRelic as a French learning platform on 12th March 2019, around the age of 22, with some French skills and a little knowledge about running an independent venture as an edupreneur. I got the opportunity to work with lots of language learners across the world, and they showered so much love and respect on me that kept me going with full energy even through all phases of ups and downs.
I made mistakes, and I learned from them. I did well and got immense appreciation and love. Through these years, I made some great achievements including my linguistic stay in France, traveling across several countries in Europe to enhance my cultural experience and understanding of the world, getting specialized to train for Canadian immigration exams, achieving the DALF level C1 in French, and starting my Masters degree in French, to name a few. Every teacher aspires to become the one whom students truly desire to learn from. Today I’m more than proud of myself having achieved all this with complete dedication and out of sheer love for my profession. Language learning is what taught me self-love, confidence, and self-sufficiency.
Learning French changed me in so many ways, personally and professionally, all this to bring out the best in me. Every teacher has their harsh days from time to time, and so do I. But when I receive messages and feedback from my students pouring all their heart into what they write for me, even on the harshest of days, it reaffirms my belief that what I chose to pursue as my career was the right thing to do.
Things may take a certain turn in life, but one thing is certain, I will never stop upskilling myself in what I do.. Because as they say, “Every teacher is an eternal student.”
Today, on LingoRelic’s 5th anniversary, I want to take this occasion to thank every person, my family, all my teachers, my friends, my team, my colleagues, my students, and everyone who added value to my French learning and my professional life in some way or the other…
My biggest thanks to Nitin sir, my first French teacher, guide, mentor, and idol, who has never taken a step back when it came to guiding me through the most complicated situations and who helped me build a vision of how to run a venture. Thank you for everything, sir! I am what I am today, thanks to you!
